Web Graphic Designer (contract position)
The Web Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating design prototypes of user interfaces using Adobe Photoshop.
The Web Graphic Designer will work closely with the Information Architect and Project Manager to develop designs that support the requirements of the client and they will collaborate with the Lead Developer to prepare optimized graphics for use with internet applications and websites.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience working on complex web development projects
- Ability to create designs based on written specifications
- Strong knowledge of web usability, user interface design, and web accessibility guidelines
- Ability to deliver a variety of design styles
- Experience working with educational, environmental, and other nonprofit organizations is a plus
- A minimum of 2 years experience creating web related graphics
- Strong experience in Adobe Photoshop a must
- Additional experience with Flash, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver a plus but not required
